What Are Philips Sonicare C2 Brush Heads?
The C2 is a replacement brush head designed for compatible Philips Sonicare electric toothbrushes. It uses specially designed bristles intended to help remove plaque while providing an effective everyday cleaning experience.
The package includes three white C2 Plaque Control brush heads. With a recommended replacement schedule of approximately three months, the three-pack can cover around nine months of regular use.
Key Benefits
One of the headline features is the manufacturer's claim of up to 700% more plaque removal compared with a manual toothbrush. This highlights the main purpose of the C2 design: improving plaque control as part of a consistent electric-brushing routine.
The brush heads are also designed to work with Sonicare's high-speed brushing technology, with compatible devices capable of producing up to 62,000 bristle movements per minute.
Another useful feature is BrushSync technology. On compatible Sonicare handles, the system can monitor brush-head usage and provide a reminder when it is time for replacement. This can make it easier to maintain a regular replacement schedule without having to remember when the current head was installed.
3-Pack and 9-Month Supply
The three-pack is particularly convenient for regular Sonicare users. Instead of purchasing a replacement head every few months, you can purchase three at once and keep the remaining heads ready for future use.
At the listed price of $27.96, each brush head costs around $9.32. Amazon also lists a Subscribe & Save price of $26.56, or approximately $8.85 per head, when eligible.
For someone who already uses a compatible Sonicare toothbrush, buying a multi-pack can be a practical way to keep replacement heads available.
Compatibility
Before purchasing, check that your electric toothbrush is compatible with Philips Sonicare C2 replacement heads. Compatibility can vary between Sonicare models, so checking your toothbrush model and the manufacturer's compatibility information is recommended.
This is especially important if you're switching from another Sonicare brush-head design.
Are They Worth It?
The Philips Sonicare C2 Brush Heads are a sensible choice for existing Sonicare users who want genuine replacement heads and prefer buying several at once.
The combination of strong customer feedback, BrushSync support on compatible handles, plaque-control design, and a nine-month supply makes the 3-pack convenient. However, replacement brush heads can be more expensive than generic alternatives.
For users who prefer genuine Philips Sonicare accessories and want the features designed specifically for compatible Sonicare handles, the additional cost may be worthwhile.
Final Verdict
The Philips Sonicare C2 Brush Heads 3-Pack offers a convenient solution for maintaining your electric toothbrush. With three replacement heads, a potential nine-month supply, BrushSync reminder support, and strong customer ratings, it is an attractive option for regular Sonicare users.
At around $9.32 per brush head, the price is reasonable for genuine replacement accessories, particularly when compared with the convenience of having several replacements ready.
Best for: Philips Sonicare users, plaque control, regular brush-head replacement, and people who prefer genuine replacement accessories.
Our take: A convenient and highly rated replacement option for compatible Sonicare toothbrushes, especially if you want a three-pack that can last approximately nine months.
